Eggsense Labs LLC (“we,” “us”) operates eggsenselabs.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect only what we need to answer your inquiries, fulfill orders, and understand how our site is used. We do not sell your information.
Information you give us
When you submit a quote request or contact form, we receive the details you enter — typically your name, email address, and your message (breed, batch size, event details, and so on). When you place an order, we receive your name, contact details, billing information, and order contents. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored on our servers.
Information collected automatically
We use a self-hosted analytics tool (Koko Analytics) to count visits and see which pages are popular. It stores a small first-party cookie in your browser to avoid double-counting visits. This data stays on our own server and is not shared with advertising networks. Our shopping cart also uses cookies to remember what’s in your cart, and our cookie banner stores a cookie recording your consent choice.
How we use your information
We use the information above to respond to inquiries, provide quotes, fulfill and communicate about orders, schedule events, improve the site, and meet legal obligations such as tax records. We send email only in connection with your inquiry or order — no marketing lists unless you explicitly ask to join one.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers needed to run the business — our email provider (Google Workspace), our payment processor, and our web hosting — and when required by law. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Retention and your choices
We keep inquiry and order records as long as needed for business and legal purposes. You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you — email contact@eggsenselabs.com and we’ll take care of it. You can also decline non-essential cookies via the banner or clear them in your browser at any time.
Children
Our site and services are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children online. (Kids are very welcome at Silkie Meet & Pet events — with their grown-ups handling the booking.)
